Since you got it this far do it right. Tear down the top end. Take the head down to the shop and do a valve job. Hone/bore the cylinder, replace piston/rings. Replace all cylinder head gaskets, timing chain, tensioner. replace clutch plates. I don't know squat about bottom ends. Unless the trans gears are blown yer probably allright down there. This bike is nice and simple. Now's the time to strip it all the way. Customize it. Anodize paint the frame. dip stuff in chrome. put on some forward controls and straight bars. ok ok, so it will cost a little bit. What's money when you've got yer bike torn down that far? LOL.
